After the bath, before the bottle: the Sleeper is the hinge of the whole evening routine, the layer that connects bath time to bedtime without adding friction to either. It's the workhorse of the under-layer: soft against the skin, quick to change in the dark, and built to survive the laundry a newborn's wardrobe actually goes through.
TENCEL™ keeps its softness and shape through the two-or-three-times-a-week washing schedule a sleeper realistically gets, rather than pilling or thinning the way generic fabrics tend to after heavy use. The sleeper is designed as the under-layer of the sleep system, not the sole source of warmth on its own, so pair it with a sleep bag rated to the nursery's temperature, or wear it alone in a genuinely warm room if a baby resists a sleep bag on top.
